The Avo 22 was originally created in 2002 to mark “the 22nd” both the day of the month for 2 reasons, it was both the day when Avo Uvezian first arrived in America, and the date upon which his sister was born. The rerelease of the line, the Limited Edition Avo 30 Years 22 Redux, is another limited release cigar released to celebrate 30 years of Avo Cigars and the impact they had on the landscape.
Packaged in a unique canister humidor that holds 19 cigars, the Avo 22 Redux is a bold, full-flavored treat that is extremely limited in stock, with just 3,200 canisters being produced worldwide! Built around a blend of four Dominican fillers, the new 22 features the same Ecuadorian Wrapper as the first limited-edition release, which sold out in near-record time.
Released in just one size, the cigar comes as a 5 7/8x50 ring gauge, same as the original 22. If you manage to get your hands on a Avo 22 Reduc, you can expect a balanced smoke with notes of white pepper, cinnamon, and coffee.
