Alec Bradley Prensado Churchill (7 x 48) World Number One cigar for 2011, the Prensado Churchill from Alec Bradley was built around a new wrapper, the Corojo dos mil, seis (Corojo 2006). The wrapper was grown in late 2006 on the farm in Trojes Honduras and was in fermentation and aging through mid 2008. The Corojo 2006 possesses an abundance of strength and natural sweetness as well as adding a tremendous amount of complexity to the blend. In addition, the cigar has a beautiful reddish brown "cubanesque" look and feel. Prensado is Alec Bradley’s first traditional pressed line of cigars and the most full bodied blend to date.
My Father Le Bijou 1922 Torpedo (6 1/8 x 52) French for "the Jewel", Le Bijou is a rich, full-bodied release from Pepin Garcia and surely will not disappoint. Flor De Las Antillas Toro (6 x 52) - The Best Cigar of the year 2012!! This box pressed treasure is Jose Garcia's premier sun grown offering. E.P. Carrillo Encore Majestic (5 3/8 x 52) Aged for 2 years, the Encore is a smooth and creamy Medium to Full bodied smoke blended by Ernesto Perez-Carillo himself. This expertly balanced cigar features notes of spice and wood with a sweet earthiness throughout. This Nicaraguan cigar features a Habaos Seed Jalapa wrapper that has a shiny silky sheen thanks to the unique Cuban “Tercios” process that was used in the creation of this gem of a cigar. While the cigars can be elevated by aging it further in a humidor, they are ready to smoke right out the box as well.
CAO Flathead V554 Camshaft (5 ½ x 54) The CAO Flathead series cigars are box pressed across all four sizes. They feature a brawny Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper and a blend that’s heavy on Nicaraguan long leaf fillers. CAO’s senior brand manager Ed McKenna had mentioned in several interviews:“Rick Rodriguez and I were always talking about the great people we’ve met at CAO events across the country, and about the conversations we’ve had with them. It didn’t take us long to realize that the conversations were always about the same things: Cigars, Cars and girls. Not necessarily in that order. So that’s what led us to come up with Flathead”
