Hirochi Robaina is back with another wonderful addition to his eponymous HR line of premium cigars, the HR Claro. Growing up in, arguably the greatest tobacco family in history, and under the tutelage of his grandfather, the legendary Alejandro Robaina, Hirochi has built upon the more than 170 years of tobacco knowledge, and has stepped out of his grandfather’s shadow to release his own highly touted line of cigars.
The HR Claro is named for both Hirochi Rabaina and the beautiful chestnut brown wrapper he selected for this treat of a smoke for cigar lovers that love a cigar that keeps on kicking all the way down to the last inch. Featuring a luscious Ecuadorian Habano Claro wrapper, and a mystery binder and filler that we are fairly certain contains Nicaraguan tobaccos, based on the wonderful toasted notes of nuts, pepper and sweet spice.
A super nuanced and creamy smoke, the Claro by Hirochi Robaina displays a finesse and construction perfection that truly displays the Cuban heritage of the minds behind this incredible line, in fact they actually use original, authentic molds from Cuba. Medium body by nature, this full flavored and incredibly balanced cigar is a great cigar for any time of day.
