This is a celebration of 5 years of superb cigars from E.P. Carrillo. Ernesto Perez-Carrillo is behind some of the most successful cigars including La Gloria Cubana and El Rico Habano. Ernesto has 30 years’ experience in the cigar industry including working at El Credito, General Cigar Co. to taking over his father's Miami-based cigar company in 1980. In 2009, Ernesto launched EPC Cigar Co. along with his children, Lissette and Ernesto III. Since then, the company’s cigar portfolio has steadily grown to have some of the most sought-after cigars including INCH and Short Run cigars. Now, the E.P. Carrillo 5th Year Anniversary is released in a single vitola that comes in a ten-count box. The cigars where made at the Tabacalera La Alianza S.A. in Dominican Republic with the wrapper being from Ecuadorian Sumatra, the binder is Ecuadorian Corojo '99, and the filler is from Nicaraguan (Esteli, Condega & Jalapa). Once you torch up one of these cigars, you will smell the aroma of white pepper, creaminess, robust coffee, earthiness, and oak. If you’re looking for a strong profile cigar with lots of complex taste, this cigar is right-up your lane for cigar aficionados.
