Leave it to Davidoff to celebrate the past with something brand new! The Davidoff Florida Selection 2018 Limited Edition Cigar features a new-to-2018 tobaccos that only appeared in one other nationally-released cigar when this limited-edition cigar was released.
The eponymous Floridian tobacco is grown by Jeff Borysiewicz, or Corona Cigars, on his Florida Sun Grown Farm in Clermont, Florida. The tobacco leaves from this farm present with a robust flavor and fragrance, and the blenders in Davidoff’s “Black label” Discovery series have paired this revolutionary tobacco with a blend of tobaccos designed to highlight and elevate the natural richness with which it presents.
The Davidoff Florida Selection’s blend is made up of a Sun Grown Floridian Sero, an Nicaraguan Estelí leaf, and Dominican Piloto Viso, San Vicente Seco and Yamasá Ligero long-filler tobaccos. With a spicy Jalapa binder and an oily Ecuadorian Habano 2000 wrapper completing this piece of tobacco art, the 6 x 52 Belicoso is truly a dream to smoke, a blend of sweet and spicy tobaccos that really round off this medium-full bodied stogie.
As with every Limited-Edition release from Davidoff, the Davidoff Florida Selection 2018 is part of an limited run, just 2,500 boxes in this case, and once it is gone it isn’t expected to come back. Additionally, this cigar is exclusively produced for American tobacconists, meaning international smokers can only get their hands on these beauties through shops like Mikes Cigars!
