I must be crazy if I think I can tell the NEW cigar of the year, but as we come close to the end of 2013 it is inevitable that we will have one. TTT Trinidad Toro (6 x 50). This Classic Cuban super-brand, was introduced in the USA only about 15 years ago and after the end of the cigar boom it was acquired by Altadis. Under the expert hands of the master blenders at the giant corporation the Trinidad rocketed as a super-premium among the best of the best: Montecristo, Romeo y Julieta et al. The TTT Trinidad is a full-bodied gem of a cigar.
Romeo y Julieta Churchill Tubo (7 x 50) Romeo y Julieta is the modern reincarnation of one of the most famous Cuban cigars. Originally established in 1875 by Inocencio Alvarez and Mannin Garcia, Romeo y Julieta is one of the original Cuban cigar lines. Jose "Pepin" Rodriguez Fernandez, who was the former head of the Cabañas factory in Havana, and his firm Rodríguez, Argüelles y Cia bought Romeo y Julieta in 1903. Romeo y Julieta cigars are now made in the Dominican Republic by Altadis.
