As a cigar smoker at least two of these names should sound familiar, but what is the common thread they share? Cigar bands, that's what.
Gustave Bock, a Cuban cigar manufacturer, is credited with using a cigar band around 1854, to set his cigars apart from the other Cubans on the market at the time. Mark Twain, a noted tobagophiles, is rumored to have saved the bands from expensive brands and placed them on cheap cigars which he later passed off at the "real deal" to his friends, much to his own amusement! Zino Davidoff and the Davidoff name long been synonymous with high class cigars. Mr. Davidoff went so far as to have put his own photo on some of his labels.
But why should the "big guys" have all the fun? Wouldn't it be great if you could create your own "label" to share with friends, co-workers and colleagues? Well, now you can!
Mike's designer bands can be customized for weddings, birthdays, bachelor parties and more. Promote your company with your own "private label" cigars. A box of 25 of their favorite cigars with 25 unique and exclusive bands of their very own is a gift most any cigar aficionado would love to receive.
Using state of the art, four color (CMYK) printing and an advanced digital process we will create your bands using bright color and crisp images, accentuated and enhanced by our technicians, to produce the most professional appearance possible. And, all of this is done without any offset printing.
Mike's bands are designed to fit cigars gauged from 42 all the way up to a monstrous 60! You can choose from one of 9 pre-designed bands categories or contact us to create your own truly custom design.
Custom bands are available for $25.00 per 25 labels, plus a one time set-up fee of $75.00. Cigars must be purchased with your band order and Mike's offers two great options:
- Select our Dominican house brand in one of five sizes: corona ($44.00), lonsdale ($46.00), robusto ($46.00), toro ($48.00), or churchill ($50.00) or
- Select any of the fine brand name cigars available from our inventory
This new blend uses fine Nicaraguan tobacco wrapped in a Connecticut shade wrapper. All the quality of a Drew Estate Java cigar with a smooth flavor.
