Times Square Sampler

This piece of real estate in the middle of New York City is, in Mike's opinion, the most exciting urban habitat in the world. You know that Mike came from the Big Apple and deep in his heart it will always feel like home away from home, but this actually refers to the lower east side where he grew up and where he had his first cigar stand. But when he saw Times Square last week he was really impressed, especially with all those big lights. Overwhelmed for a second by the huge screens, he thought he sees giant cigars projected on them. This is how he came up with this sampler.

Starting with the Montecristo Double Corona (6 1/2 x 52), a rich, refined, and full of the taste of the good life, the massive Montecristo is an awesome smoke with refreshing nutty flavors.

Romeo y Julieta Churchill (7 x 50), a mouth watering and sleek cigar, the velvet smoothness of the Romeo Churchill is second to none. It is loaded with creamy chocolate notes and a dash of whip cream. It just rolls on your palate with its spicy sweetness.

Cigar number three is Perdomo Habano Maduro Robusto (5 x 50), elegant, silky smooth with a bit of peppery notes of cinnamon. The complexity of the full-flavor leaves from Esteli, the aromatic tobacco from Condega and the natural sweetness of the Jalapa valley make up for a really outstanding cigar.

Fourth position belongs to the La Gloria Cubana Corona Gorda (6 x 52). This unbelievable cigar is loaded with flavorful tobaccos from the Best of the Best! Oily and overflowing with the sweet spicy taste of freshly ground Blue Mountain coffee beans.

Mike chose the Montecristo Afrique Kilimanjaro (7 x 46) to finish the sampler. Each one of the Kilimanjaro comes in its own individual Cedar jacket to enhance the awesome flavors of this cigar. It's a long slow smoke with deliciously creamy smooth finish.
