Exclusively made for Mike’s Cigars customers, The Robusto Cigar Sampler is loaded with flavorful tobaccos from the best cigar makers of three great factories. From the soft silky wrapper of the Alec Bradley Maxx Fix robusto cigar, to the roasted coffee been aroma and the CAO Brazilian zest of the CAO Lambada. The cigars in this sampler are perfectly blended for the accomplished connoisseur. A NEW addition to our samplers today is the CAO MX2 Box Press, all Cuban Seed heavyweight grown in Nicaragua and Honduras, with nutty spices and espresso flavors, followed by cigar lover’s favorite, the Excalibur Epicure robusto. Last but not least is the Fonseca Predilectos #100 A potent smoke, made of ripe aged tobacco with unbridled infusion recipe not for the timid smoker. It will certainly spice up the robusto Cigar Sampler.
Number 1 cigar is Alec Bradley Maxx The Fix (5 x 58). Rated "91" by C.A. Magazine, the MAXX is an extraordinary mature cigar. Coated with a dark Nicaraguan tobacco, it is blended to include tobaccos from 4 Latin American nations: Colombia, Nicaragua, Honduras and Mexico. The binder is a unique Costa Rican aromatic leaf and the cigar is a sweet medium to full-body, rich smooth and flavorful.
Our 2nd cigar is CAO Brazilia Lambada (6 x 50) Developed for the cigar fan that yearns for a full-bodied yet smooth and balanced smoke, the CAO Brazilia cigar offers multiple sizes in mostly large ring gauges. Flavors and strengths differ among these sizes from medium-full to full bodied with deep aromas of nuts, cocoa, and earth present. A cigar for the accomplished smoker, the CAO Brazilia cigar line with numerous 90+ ratings represent an outstanding value.
The Excalibur 1066 (5 x 50) is our next pick. The Excalibur combines power and smoothness in a very unordinary way. I’ve never smoked a cigar so tasteful, yet so mellow, and Mike considers it the best Honduran cigar in the market. Full of tastes of slightly burnt macadamia nuts with creamy notes of milk chocolate, it is absolutely a delicious smoke.
Number 4 is CAO MX2 Box Press (5 1/2 x 55) Made with tobaccos from six different countries, it is a harmonious blend of various worlds. With tobacco fillers from Dominican Republic, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Peru, binders from Brazil and a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper, this sweet, sultry cigar is an intensely vibrant gem.
Finally, Fonseca Predilectos No. 100 (5 1/2 x 52) These cigars were produced for the discriminate palate of smokers in Spain. The blend is Tercio Aged for ultimate delicacy and finesse, with Tripa Dom-Nicaraguan filler, Connecticut Broadleaf binder and immaculate Cameroon wrapper. At a medium body and full flavor, these cigars come individually dressed En-Cedar.
