The Cigar Aficionado magazine published the best 25 cigars of last year and the A Turrent Triple Play received a good position among them, so it’s a perfect opportunity to introduce this cigar in a sampler. Mike’s Cigars is proud to include in this sampler the Prensado by Alec Bradley which also was among the best 25 the cigars. These cigars were made for the Rich and Famous but Mike’s Cigars is bringing this royal sampler at a fraction of their price.

Our first offering is Montecristo White No. 2 Belicoso (6 1/8 x 52) - Reminiscent of the original Montecristo No. 2, this cigar is the epitome of construction. The golden blonde wrapper on this perfectly built torpedo hides a balanced filler blend producing warm, spicy medium bodied smoke. A great cigar to share!

Our 2nd cigar is A. Turrent Triple Play Short Belicoso (4 x 60) This cigar is made with a combination of vintage Maduro tobacco leaves from Honduras, Mexico and Connecticut U.S.A. The Triple Play is rich with espresso and vanilla bean flavors, smooth to the palate and creamy to boot.

Third on the list is Savinelli R&R Series Y Torpedo (6 1/2 x 54) This new line is handcrafted at the Rico y Raro factory in Esteli, Nicaragua with a blend of 100% Nicaraguan-grown Cuban seed long filler tobaccos that is bound with two and a half leaves of ligero and encased in an attractive Ecuador Habano wrapper, resulting in Savinelli’s boldest recipe to date.

Number 4 is Alec Bradley Prensado Torpedo (6 1/8 x 52) This cigar was built around a new wrapper, the Corojo dos mil, seis (Corojo 2006). The wrapper was grown in late 2006 on the farm in Trojes Honduras and was in fermentation and aging through mid 2008. In addition, the cigar has a beautiful reddish brown "cubanesque" look and feel. Prensado is Alec Bradley's first traditional pressed line of cigars and the most full bodied blend to date.

Last but definitely not least is the Licenciados Figurado (6 x 56). The excellent Figurado boasts the Best Prime Connecticut Broadleaf, smooth and creamy taste, and balance to boot.
