Number one is Remedios Robusto (4 1/2 x 50) Cigar Master John Oliva created this brand in the wake of a warehouse fire that destroyed the entire inventory of a Connecticut Valley tobacco supplier. After he purchased a whole load of golden leaf bales from the insurance, he shipped it to his factory in La Entracta, Honduras and to make a long story short, the combination of the aged flavorful blend of Habano long filler tobaccos from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic, a smooth, seasoned binder, and the silky sweet Connecticut wrapper creates a well-balanced and rich smoke with flavors of earth and spice.

The second pick is La Finca Robusto (5 x 54) La Finca is a well-balanced Nicaraguan puro that is medium-bodied with a naturally sweet, nutty flavor. La Finca is a great value because you get a whole lot of smoke for not a whole lot of cost. They've been on the market since 1972, and are among the most popular lower-priced cigar brands carried by Mike's.

Our 3rd cigar is Alvarez Lopez Robusto (5 x 50) Now handmade in the Dominican Republic, these are the first Alvarez Lopez cigars in distribution since the brand was discontinued upon the closing of the factory in Jamaica.
