Sunday, June 12, 2011. The auction for the annual “Lunch with Warren Buffett “was closed last Friday night, but, as we write this text, the name of the winning bidder is still a mystery. It is the12th year that Warren Buffett has been holding the charity auction fundraising lunch with whoever pays the highest price. The proceeds go to a non-profit organization that provides social services to the poor and homeless in the San Francisco Bay Area. Interestingly, when I googled the subject, I discovered that several years ago, Lebron James was having a buffet lunch with Buffett, and I wonder if it that was when the idea to transfer to the Miami Heat was born?
