TGIF – Thank God it’s Freeloader Friday with one more great value cigar Sampler! Today Mike’s Cigars is offering 50 succulent cigars – or you could buy just 20, or 10 of them – at a ridiculous price! With Old Fashioned No. 41 (second of a Partagas) and 3 big churchills from Jose Marti, Casa De Garcia and Cuban Sandwich – and to top it all off, an unbelievable Hoyo De Monterey Rothschild cigar that will leave you with a smile.
The first cigar is José Martí Don Juan (7 1/4 x 54) José Martí Dominicans are the epitome of the traditional Dominican cigar flavor profile: smooth and creamy, with just a touch of natural sweetness. Wrapped in a golden Connecticut shade wrapper, these mild, long-filler handmade cigars are a pleasure to smoke.
Casa de Ortez Churchill (6 1/2 x 50) Made in the Agroindustrial Nicaraguense de Tabaco in Condega, Nicaragua by Omar Ortez these cigars use ultra-rich Nicaraguan tobacco blend and come in two differnce wrappers. The Connecticut shade version features a golden creamy wrapper and the Ecudorian Cubanao version sports a spicier and slightly darker skin. These cigars are quality handmade and full of taste.
3rd cigar is the Hoyo de Monterrey Rothschild (4 1/2 x 50) Hoyo de Monterrey is crafted with Cuban-seed tobacco carefully cultivated in the richest Honduran soil. The story goes that the original Piloto Cubano seeds for the production of the Hoyo de Monterey, were smuggled from Cuba to Honduras by diplomatic pouch. Made "en la manera de los Indios" (the Indian way) the Hoyo de Monterrey cigar is still simply a product of the sun, the wind, and the soil. A full-bodied cigar of straightforward character, Hoyo de Monterrey invites you to try the standard for all Honduran cigars.
4th on the list is Old Fashioned No. 41 (5 1/2 x 49) The Dominican Old Fashioned is made from the same high quality tobaccos as the famous Macanudo label, and the brands Macanudo's milder smoke. With the same quality level of the Old Fashioned Chicos, it's like smoking a Macanudo at a fraction of the price.
Last on the list is Cuban Sandwich Cremas (5 1/2 x 46). It will always give you the same excellent taste and quality. And just like the repertoire of the Cuban Cafeteria it offers superb quality in a dirt-chip price tag. The mixed-filler "sandwich" is made with same Sumatra-Connecticut wrapper, Honduran binder and mixed Dominican, Mexican, Honduran/Nicaraguan filler that comes from the production of its long filler brother: The Cuba Libre.
