As we are writing up this sampler, we are preparing to sit down and watch Game 7. History favors the Cardinals as the home team in Game 7, but we’ll see what happens tonight. One interesting point is if the Rangers win, it will be their first World Series title. It’s been an exciting series and we created an excellent sampler to enjoy this final game with. The Arturo Fuente Hemingway Signature (6 x 47) The Arturo Fuente Hemingway Signature is a grand corona sized cigar and was the first size in the series in 1983. This format allows the beautiful African grown Cameroon wrapper and all Dominican filler blend to harmonize into one outstanding, medium bodied smoke. With excellent construction and a perfect burn the aromas of spice, vanilla, and wood led the Hemingway Signature to receive a 92 Cigar Aficionado rating.
La Gloria Cubana Artesanos de Tabaqueros 650 (6 x 50) Tabaqueros is carefully handmade at the Little Havana shop by a tiny team of 10 master rollers. To create this gem, they chose two different wrappers. A dark and oily Habano-Sumatra seed wrapper grown in Ecuador is dressed on the first two thirds of the cigar length, while the final third sports a supple Connecticut Shade, sweet and creamy.
CAO OSA Sol Lot 50 (5 x 50). A classic Robusto in its dimensions, this unique cigar is the finalist in the OSA collection. Like the other two cigars, it was created in the CAO tradition of developing exciting new tastes and smoking experience, and it proves to be an absolute success.
La Gloria Cubana Artesanos Retro Especiale Habanero (6 x 52) After General Cigar Corp. completed the acquisition of La Gloria Cubana from Ernesto Perez Carillo, a group of managers were touring the old La Gloria Cubana factory in the Little Havana section of Miami when they found an antique humidor. When they blew the dust off the old relic they were astonished to discover a genuine one of a kind humidor that was handmade for an old world monarch at the time when steamships were crossing the oceans. The classic humidor is the inspiration behind the new La Gloria Retro cigars. They come in four sizes, each in its own unique box, carefully designed to resemble the original humidor.

La Gloria Cubana Artesanos Retro Especiale has a Connecticut seed wrapper. The Mexican and Nicaraguan binder is enhanced by Nicaraguan and Dominican ligero and an additional peppering of proprietary Nicaraguan and Dominican leaf.
