Montecristo for Mona Lisa is the first in The Grand Masters No. 1 Sampler series, and just like these phenomenal masterpiece paintings which inspired the series, the new samplers are complex and unique.

 

The Grand Masters No. 1 features Montecristo Classic Toro (6 x 52). The proverbial cigar grand master that became the international symbol for top quality.

 

 

Second on our list is Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real Toro (6 x 54), with creamy hints of Cafe ‘con leche’ on the palate, it burns slow and sweet with a long ending of chestnuts notes.

 

Third is the ever popular Cohiba Robusto (5 x 49). The dark, rich wrapper leaf is grown in the sub-tropical West African climate of Cameroon. The supple and flavorful Jember binder is grown in Indonesia. To balance the richness of the wrapper, the smooth-smoking Piloto Cubano filler leaves are grown in the Dominican Republic. The result is rich and flavorful with creamy notes of smoked nuts in butterscotch.

 

Our Fourth offering is the Cibao Robusto (5 x 50). It is complex, bitter sweet and the flavors just "melt" in your mouth. This powerful yet gentle cigar is full of surprise and pleasure.

 

Last but definitely not least is the Licenciados Toro (6 x 50) Licenciados (pronounced: Li-sen-sia-Dos) has been a leading brand for us since we introduced this cigar almost twenty years ago. Not only is the Licenciados as smooth as a baby’s behind, it is creamy and full of nutty flavors. Licenciados proved to be the pioneer brand which paved the way to many other Dominican made cigars on the road to stardom and recognition by the media, and the lime lights were no longer the domain of the Castro industry only.
