It is hard enough to find a decent bundle cigar that will provide a good smoking experience. Try to find one of these in a “FIGURADO” shape. The truth of the matter, when it comes to Figurado (or Torpedo) shaped cigars, is that most factories reserve all the resources they have in their production line to make Figurado first quality cigars only. You might ask now, where is quality control that should reject figurado shaped cigars just like they do with “straight” shaped cigars. The mystery is, that in many cases it is impossible to find these “seconds” in the figurado shape. The reason? We don’t know. Maybe it is because the rollers who make the shaped cigars are the best rollers in the factory and, hence, there are much fewer quality rejects? Whatever the reason is, in this sampler we found for you five great “seconds” cigars for a great bargain price!

José Martí Masaya Figurado (6 3/4 x 54) José Martí Dominicans are the epitome of the traditional Dominican cigar flavor profile: smooth and creamy, with just a touch of natural sweetness. Wrapped in a golden Connecticut shade wrapper, these mild, long-filler handmade cigars are a pleasure to smoke.

Lusitania by Perdomo Torpedo (6 1/4 x 54) adds more power and taste of roasted peanuts sweetened with notes of burned brown sugar. It adds a cache to this sampler.

La Finca Pyramide (6 3/4 x 38-48) is a well-balanced Nicaraguan puro that is medium-bodied with a naturally sweet, nutty flavor. La Finca is a great value because you get a whole lot of smoke for not a whole lot of cost.

El Cauto Rojo Torpedo (6 x 54) The El Cauto has been a solid brand since the roaring days of the cigar boom. The plastic bundle was upgraded to a flip-top carton, containing 25 cigars in individual extra thick protective cello, inside which you’ll find a handsome smoke banded with the red El Cauto ring, standing for the reddish original color or the brand from days gone.

Cuban Sandwich Torpedo (7 x 52). It will always give you the same excellent taste and quality. And just like the repertoire of the Cuban Cafeteria it offers superb quality in a dirt-chip price tag. The mixed-filler "sandwich" is made with same Sumatra-Connecticut wrapper, Honduran binder and mixed Dominican, Mexican, Honduran/Nicaraguan filler that comes from the production of its long filler brother: The Cuba Libre.
