Mike is dreaming of Havana. In his dream it is back in 1958 and he’s staying at the Hotel Nacional and he’s dancing on the floor of the famous club “Tropicana”. The beautiful girl he’s dancing with works for the establishment, she’s wearing those colorful ostrich feathers leaving very little for the imagination. He’s holding a big, fat Montecristo and life is good… By the way, Mike still drives his old Chevy (’62 with the large sharkfins in the back), in short Mike would love to go back in time and if we’re lucky we could all get there when Cuba opens. For the meantime Mike came up with this nice sampler.

That big Montecristo Churchill (7 x 50) is a perfect start. Loaded with full tobacco flavors of coffee and cream, with complex nutty notes, from wall to wall the Montecristo is a true cigar for the accomplished aficionado.

Romeo Y Julieta Vintage No. IV (7 x 48). Another classic line of fine cigars from Romeo Y Julieta. This is the second non Cuban blend to come out of the Dominican Republic. It has a Smooth blend, but the cigar is very complex and has different aromas and flavor changes over the course of the smoke. This Mild to Medium cigar has a Dominican filler, Mexican binder and Connecticut Ecuadorian wrapper.

Alec Bradley Family Blend T-11 (6 1/8 x 52) Alec Bradley Family Blend cigars were created especially to honor the fathers of the company's three principal executives, Alan Rubin , Ralph Montero, and George Sosa. The Alec Bradley Family Blend cigars come In chests of 50 cigars bearing the signatures of David Rubin, Miguel Montero and Reinaldo Sosa. The smoke is medium-bodied, creamy-smooth, and full-flavored with a marvelous aroma.

Number four for this sampler we bring you our favorite, H. Upmann Vintage Cameroon Toro (6 x 50). This Cuban classic is perfect to bring this exciting night to a dreamy end.

We chose the Licenciados Toro (6 1/2 x 50), which adds more power and taste of roasted peanuts sweetened with notes of burned brown sugar to end this "dreamy" sampler.
