It's that of time of year again. Be sure to change your clocks back this Sunday at 2:00 a.m. and set the new time to 1:00. The problem, of course, is that night falls very early all of a sudden. Be careful on the road when you drive back home, it is pitch dark at five but drivers and pedestrians are not used to it yet, so keep your eyes peeled. Relax, enjoy a cigar and get ready for the Holiday season. We prepared a wonderful sampler for this occasion.

Old Fashioned No. 8 (6 1/2 x 54) The Honduran Old Fashioned cigars are handrolled by the experts at Villazon, manufacturers of Hoya De Monterrey, Punch, Excalibur and other famous brands. The Hondurans are offered in European Market Select or Maduro wrappers and are medium to full-bodied smokes.

Franco Magnums (7 1/2 x 50) Mike’s Cigars offers a medium bodied cigar, with excellent construction and creamy leathery flavors the cigars are packed in elegant boxes of 25 cigars. The easy smoke Connecticut wrapper is accented with spicy Dominican blend filler and binder. Exquisite.

Flor De Gonzalez Fuma (7 x 46) Handmade in Nicaragua with a ‘sandwich’ blend of tobacco, a smooth Indonesian binder and a medium brown Ecuador Sumatra wrapper, this mild to medium bodied smoke is perfect for those really trying to squeeze their pennies, but want a great cigar.

Cibao Robusto (5 x 50) The Dominican filler and binder of this beautiful cigar is grown in the Cibao Valley in the middle of the island. From lush tobacco fields, with fertile soils rich with minerals carried down the mountains with gentle rains, all to enrich this flavorful-rich tobacco gem. This mild-to-medium smoke sports Connecticut-shade wrapper, silky smooth and creamy sweet cigar to boot, with butterscotch flavor and a long hazelnut finish. El Cauto Rojo Torpedo (6 x 54) The El Cauto has been a solid brand since the roaring days of the cigar boom. The plastic bundle was upgraded to a flip-top carton, containing 25 cigars in individual extra thick protective cello, inside which you’ll find a handsome smoke banded with the red El Cauto ring, standing for the reddish original color or the brand from days gone.
