Just like Truman Capote’s “In Cold Blood” – a breathtaking story about a murder trial which happened exactly 50 years ago – nobody in Miami knew who, in the middle of the night, trespassed into the middle of the cornfield and systematically butchered the innocent corn plants standing, trembling, in the heat of the night. But when we all woke up in the morning that is the picture that we saw and only Mike was standing there, in the corner, with a slim smile in the corner of his mouth.
