Classic Opera of Great Cigars Sampler
The other day I was going through an old collection of cigar bands and logo designs and it became clear to me that they all belong to the culture of the classic great operas from Italy and Spain. Take for instance the story of Romeo y Juliet which inspired so many different cigars, continue with the Count of Montecristo, La Traviata, Sancho Panza and Fonseca. The artwork on the bands, the names and the story are full with promises of intrigue and adventure, in great taste and awesome flavors. This is the making of an unforgettable Cigar Sampler.
The Montecristo Platinum Por Delacroix Vintage 2000 Churchill (7 x 50) is the best Montecristo we ever smoked. This is a special edition of the Montecristo Platinum, created back in 2000 for a very limited production run in boxes that were “dressed” with world renowned painter, Michel Delacroix’s artwork. Each of these cigars feature a complex blend of Caribbean, Central and South American black tobaccos. Wrapped in a luxurious San Andres grown capa, it is silky to the touch and offers the smoker a dense, flavor-packed cigar experience. Each cigar comes in a individual high quality Spanish Cedar jacked it was aging with for the last ten years.
Romeo Y Julieta Exhibition #3 (6 x 50) This is the modern reincarnation of one of the most famous Cuban cigars. Originally established in 1875 by Inocencio Alvarez and Mannin Garcia, this is one of the original Cuban cigar lines. Jose "Pepin" Rodriguez Fernandez, who was the former head of the Cabañas factory in Havana, and his firm Rodríguez, Argüelles y Cia bought Romeo y Julieta in 1903. This classic cigar is always consistent and spicy to the core this slow burn treasure is crisp and creamy with hints of dark coffee and cream.
