Cigar makers the world over use Spanish cedar in their trade. Spanish cedar is really known for its very distinctive fragrance, and thus as the wood of choice for lining humidors, cigar boxes and cigar wrappers. The reason is: in time, the aroma improves and enhances the cigars taste and flavor. You will find cedar leaf lining your cigar box and in between the cigars but they save the ultimate "cedar jacket" for their best of the best. In this sampler we selected only those best cigars that come individually dressed in a cedar jacket.

Our first pick is Montecristo Afrique Kilimanjaro (7 x 46) The most unique cigar of all the Montecristo lines. Composed of African tobaccos from Cameroon and Tanzania it has a distinct entrancing flavor with an exotic, spicy core. Indescribably rich and creamy. A must-try for cigar aficionados.

The second cigar is Fonseca Cedar No. 200 (6¼ x 54) This cigar was produced for the discriminate palate of smokers in Spain. The blend is Tercio Aged for ultimate delicacy and finesse, with Tripa Dom-Nicaraguan filler, Connecticut Broadleaf binder and immaculate Cameroon wrapper. At a medium body and full flavor, these cigars come individually dressed En-Cedar and packed in a smart flip-top cabinet.

Next is Cuba Aliados Anniversary Magico. At 6 Inches and 48" ring the Cuba Aliados Magico has been a long time favorite among serious smokers. It is a spicy, brilliantly blended stogy with nutty flavors and espresso finish.

H. Upmann Vintage Cameroon Robusto (5 x 52) full of the rich nutty core flavors, bearing the distinguished quality and the finest flavor of old Havana premium cigars.

We conclude this sampler with Hoyo de Monterrey Dark Sumatra Espresso (4½ x 50) this is a full-body blend, even more robust than a regular Hoyo de Monterrey. The name Dark Sumatra came after its wrapper tobaccos, hand-selected from the very darkest and richest Ecuadorian sun-grown, Sumatra seed leaves. Dark Sumatra also has a rich, textured Connecticut Broadleaf binder and a special robust blend of premium Honduran, Nicaraguan and Dominican filler tobaccos that all contribute to the extraordinary taste of this rich cigar.
