“Once in a decade comes a great cigar.” The Olancho San Agustin by CAO is the one for this decade. This new collection from CAO is dressed in an outstanding wrapper from Olancho San Agustin valley in Honduras. This is a 2008 amazing crop that was extra aged. The leaves are rich with essential oils and flavors. Then a hearty Connecticut Broadleaf binder, and a Nicaraguan/Honduran filler proprietary blend. The result is a provocative taste that celebrates the nuances of once in a decade cigar. This CAO OSA Sampler includes all three cigars in this collection + THE Romeo Bully and Rocky Patel Vintage 1992.

CAO Osa Sol Lot 58 is the first cigar in this sampler. At 6 1/2 by 58 it is a BIG smoke with a beautiful wrapper which is oily and full of hearty tastes. Rick Rodriguez, who spearheads CAO’s new product development, collaborated with Ed McKenna, CAO’s senior brand manager, to create CAO OSA Sol and the Lot 58 marks a new level of accomplishment in their efforts, just take a few puff and discover why.

Romeo Y Julieta Exhibition #3 (6 x 50) This is the modern reincarnation of one of the most famous Cuban cigars. Originally established in 1875 by Inocencio Alvarez and Mannin Garcia, this is one of the original Cuban cigar lines. Jose "Pepin" Rodriguez Fernandez, who was the former head of the Cabañas factory in Havana, and his firm Rodríguez, Argüelles y Cia bought Romeo y Julieta in 1903. This classic cigar is always consistent and spicy to the core this slow burn treasure is crisp and creamy with hints of dark coffee and cream. The CAO OSA Sol Lot 54 (6 x 54) is our 3rd cigar in this collection. The cigar’s distinctive flavor impacts you as soon as you light up. The natural oils contribute to the cigar’s uniquely robust personality. The earthy notes of cinnamon and coffee, and the full-bodied aroma, make for a perfect smoking experience, while the construction and texture are simply impeccable.

Rocky Patel Vintage ’92 Perfecto (4 x 48) a super-aged powerhouse, maturing in cedar vaults to bring a great marriage between its unique wrapper and awesome blend to a full blown, high octane explosion of magical flavors. With notes of rye roast and honey butter it is an absolutely delicious cigar that lasts forever.

Last but not least is the CAO OSA Sol Lot 50 (5 x 50). A classic Robusto in its dimensions, this unique cigar is the finalist in the OSA collection.
