As we told you, this past week we wrapped up the Annual Cigar Trade Show in Las Vegas. Wrapped in a medium brown Ecuador grown Sumatra, and featuring a prime blend of Havana seed fillers grown in the Jalapa River valley, along with potent ligero tobaccos from Peru, this Montecristo has got some real body to it.

Macanudo Gold Label Crystal (5 1/2 x 50) Made of rare golden Connecticut Shade wrapper leaves to create a distinctive, new taste. The golden wrapper leaves are harvested from the first and second primings of Macanudo's specially grown Connecticut Shade crop. The wrappers are elegantly thin, yet remarkably supple with fine veins. Their texture is especially smooth, without a hint of graininess. An excellent offering from the prestigious Macanudo line.

Cloaked in a rich, chocolate-brown Ecuador Sumatra wrapper from the crop of 2001, and blended from a prime selection of vintage Caribbean-basin tobaccos, the 489 Collection is what premium cigar smoking is all about.

Gispert Toro En Tubo (6 x 50) The tasty Gispert will delight even the seasoned and demanding cigar connoisseur, not to mention this cigar comes encased in a glass tube . Once a vintage Cuban brand, it is hand made today by Altadis in Honduras. Gispert cigars are crafted with a unique blend of Honduran and Nicaraguan grown long filler tobaccos, a Honduran binder and a rich golden Ecuadorian Connecticut shade wrapper for the Natural cigars, and a specially grown San Andres Morron dark shade for the Maduro. It is a medium bodied cigar with sweet notes of cocoa and spiced wood, slow burn and long finish.
