The Bahia by Tony Borhani took the cigar market like a comet streaking across the night sky. With the introduction of the Bahia Gold, back in 1997, Borhani placed himself at the top of the cigar ratings and in tobacco stores all over the country. Today the Bahia Gold is better than ever and we are proud to introduce them here to our customers. The Bahia Gold Introductory Samper includes all Tony Borhani cigars, starting with the “original” gold. With a very small production, the Bahia Gold Cigars (Churchill - 6 7/8 x 48) enjoy top quality control but they are very hard to get. The cigars are wrapped with the best wrapper Ecuador has to offer, the filler and the binder come from a very small farm in the Dominican Republic and the cigars are aged 12 months after they were rolled. They are Box-pressed, full bodied, with complex and rich flavors.

Bahia Gold Maduro Robusto (5 x 50) With extra long aged Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrappers the Bahia Gold Maduro cigars are creamy-smooth and very pleasing to smoke. They sport a four year old Dominican binder, and Dominican and Nicaraguan filler blend. These maduros are rich, oily and robust with complex notes of coffee, nutmeg and caramel.

Bahia Vintage 2000 Gran Corona (6 1/2 x 54) Bahia Vintage Collection was introduced in the cigar market in 1994, causing a revolution in taste and appreciation of the world's finest cigars. These cigars were made of Cuban seed tobacco grown in Nicaragua of the 1996 harvest and they were sold out quickly. Tony Borhani dates his Bahia Vintage cigars based on the year the filler and binder were grown, except for its vintage maduro line, which is dated according to the year the wrapper was harvested. The current Bahia Vintage cigars are handmade using only 2000-vintage Nicaraguan Connecticut seed wrappers and 1998-vintage Nicaraguan Cuban seed fillers & binders. The rich flavors of the Bahia Vintage will please the most demanding cigar aficionado.

Bahia “B” Line #1 (6 x 50) Tony Borhani created the Bahia B Line as an inexpensive alternative to the original Bahia Gold. The cigars are handmade with a 3-year-old Ecuadorian sun-grown wrapper and a two year old Connecticut binder. The filler blend is a secret mixture of leftover leaves from the Bahia Gold, Trinidad, and Maduro cigars. I think it was a first time in history that a b-line cigar received a 90 rating from Cigar Aficionado.

Bahia Gold White Churchill (6 7/8 x 48) The Bahia’Gold “White Label” cigars are the top premium selection product by Tony Borhani. These rich and creamy smokes have a wonderful aroma with sweet-peppery notes of dark chocolate and coffee beans. Each Bahia White Label cigar goes through extra aging after production to allow it to “mellow down” and get the additional flavors. The perfectly balanced blend is rich and satisfying and the quality of these cigars is second to none.
