So is the story of this sampler with the new discovery in an untouched stock of 10 years in aging, Montecristo Vintage Platinum 2000 in Churchill size cigars. The first cigar is AVO No. 2 (6 x 50). The Davidoff Company has been distributing AVO cigars since 1995 and this fact by itself is the ultimate testimony to the quality and attention each cigar in every box receives. The cigars are delicious, full of taste but gentle and creamy in your palate from the special blend of the choicest Dominican filler and binder, to the rich and succulent Connecticut wrapper leaves, each Avo cigar is a work of art.

Number 2 is Montecristo Churchill, (7 x 50) massive on taste and pouring quality, the Montecristo is sweet with spicy glazed hazelnuts flavors and Cedar buttery notes; it is a long slow smoke with deliciously creamy smooth finish.

Our 3rd cigar is The Montecristo Vintage Platinum 2000 Special Edition (7 x 50) is the best Montecristo we ever smoked. This is a special edition of the Montecristo Platinum, created back in 2000 for a very limited production run in boxes that were “dressed” with world renowned painter, Michel Delacroix’s artwork. Each of these cigars feature a complex blend of Caribbean, Central and South American black tobaccos. Wrapped in a luxurious San Andres grown capa, it is silky to the touch and offers the smoker a dense, flavor-packed cigar experience. Each cigar comes in an individual high quality Spanish Cedar jacket it was aging with for the last ten years.

Our fourth is the Montecristo Vintage 2001 (5 x 58). Mini Churchill Handmade in La Romana, Dominican Republic, the Serie V is a more robust blending of the traditional Montecristo line. The blend of aged Dominican and Brazilian long fillers bound by a flavorful Dominican binder is complimented by a silky Cameroon wrapper providing a smooth cedary smoke with an enjoyable spicy kick.

Our last cigar is Montecristo Flor-Fina Banquet (5 x 50) Comes in a glass tube and is the first cigar to be fabricated in Honduras where bolder, more "Cubanesque" type tobaccos are grown. Wrapped in a medium brown Ecuador grown Sumatra, and featuring a prime blend of Havana seed fillers grown in the Jalapa River valley, along with potent ligero tobaccos from Peru, this Montecristo has got some real body to it.
