Our first offering is Patel Brothers Torpedo (6 1/4 x 52) The Patel Brothers cigar is a result of a breakthrough project to develop a full body cigar with wrapper tobacco leaves from the lush fields of the Pennsylvania valley. The Patel brothers, Rocky and Nish, dreamed a powerhouse made with a special Nicaraguan filler blend, wrapped in rich and oily, dark broadleaf wrapper that is spicy and robust to boot. Each cigar goes through a multi-step rolling process that includes extensive tasting under Rocky’s watchful eye. The aroma is heavy with medium-to-full body flavors with hints of roasted Java coffee beans that brought memories of the Cohiba Behike that was released at the last cigar festival in Havana.

2^nd cigar is Alec Bradley Prensado Torpedo (6 1/8 x 52) This cigar was built around a new wrapper, the Corojo dos mil, seis (Corojo 2006). The wrapper was grown in late 2006 on the farm in Trojes Honduras and was in fermentation and aging through mid 2008. In addition, the cigar has a beautiful reddish brown "cubanesque" look and feel. Prensado is Alec Bradley's first traditional pressed line of cigars and the most full bodied blend to date.

Third on the list is Savinelli R&R Series Y Torpedo (6 1/2 x 54) This new line is handcrafted at the Rico y Raro factory in Esteli, Nicaragua with a blend of 100% Nicaraguan-grown Cuban seed long filler tobaccos that is bound with two and a half leaves of ligero and encased in an attractive Ecuador Habano wrapper, resulting in Savinelli’s boldest recipe to date.

Number 4 cigar is Alec Bradley Maxx Curve (7 x 58) Rated 91 1/2 by C.A. Magazine, the MAXX is an extraordinary mature cigar. Coated with a dark Nicaraguan tobacco, it is blended to include tobaccos from 4 Latin American nations: Colombia, Nicaragua, Honduras and Mexico. The binder is a unique Costa Rican aromatic leaf and the cigar is a sweet medium to full-body, rich smooth and flavorful.

The late night closer for this selection is our newest addition: Troya Clasico No. 54 T Torpedo (6 x 54). This dreamy smoke is fuller body than the rest of the cigars in this sampler – as a closer should be. Heavy with charred flavors of roast and bark, long finish that leaves you complete and satisfied.
