898 Lusitania Mike's 1950 Cigar Sampler

This sampler includes 8-9-8 Collection Factory Seconds Churchill together with Carlos Torano, Mike’s 1950 Seconds in Toro size, Casa De Ortez  Toro and El Cauto Rojo Churchill. At $69.95 for 50 cigars, you’re paying just over a buck a stick. We’ve never offered a deal that good. I wonder for how long it lasts?

Our first cigar is 898 Collection Seconds Churchill (7 1/2 x 50). This big Churchill is mild and creamy with a bold coffee core and a drop of spicy herbs. The silky wrapper leaf and sweet taste make the 8-9-8 a perfect cigar to enjoy after a stressful day.

Sancho Panza Toledo (6 x 60) Sancho Panza cigars were originated in Havana in 1852 and are still made there with a surprisingly mild taste for Cuban cigars. In sharp contrast, the Honduran version of Sancho Panza was introduced in 2001 with a very robust taste. This is a cigar you can always depend on for an excellent draw and a decidedly rich and full-bodied flavor. Sancho Panza is a superbly constructed, square-pressed cigar that can be enjoyed every day.

3rd cigar is the Mike’s 1950 Seconds Toro (6 1/2 x 50), The Mike’s 1950 Seconds are Cask aged in a Barrel. We started this fresh new concept in 2010 and it works wonderfully for these medium-to-full body cigars. After just a few months we were getting a sweet, spicy, smoke, full of interesting earthy notes. Save a lot and get a good, robust smoke with Mike’s 1950 Seconds.

Riata No. 700 (4 3/4 x 50) Riata is a well-constructed cigar manufactured in Nicaragua that remains a solid, consistent bargain. With a medium strength and Mexican wrapper and binder, this is one the better low cost cigars. Now available in bundles of 20 - no more 25's. taste.

Last on the list is El Cauto Rojo Churchill (6 1/2 x 48) The El Cauto has been a solid brand since the roaring days of the cigar boom. The plastic bundle was upgraded to a flip-top carton, containing 25 cigars in individual extra thick protective cello, inside which you’ll find a handsome smoke banded with the red El Cauto ring, standing for the reddish original color or the brand from days gone.
