In the process of making the new, specially aged Hoyo reposado, the old villazon factory has been using a new method that immerses the cigars in cedar, which adds extra smoothness. After being masterfully crafted by Honduran artisans each cigar is treated by the new method, yielding a complex medium-bodied smoke, rich with spicy-sweet notes of coffee and nuts.
The New Edition of Hoyo De Monterey Reposado En Cedros is very limited due to the extra time and care needed for this unique aging process.
