It was 1992 when Cigar Aficionado first recognized the superiority of La Gloria Cubana, giving it 90 and higher ratings time after time. Today La Gloria Cubana is one of the most sought after cigars in the world but only few know that before it was called La Gloria , it used to be El Credito. Ernesto Perez Carrillo factory in Little Havana used to make these cigars and Mike’s Cigars was their distributor. When The CA magazine discovered The El Credito factory, the cigar name became La Gloria and the rest is history. But we never forget where it all started and, therefore, we’re proud to sell, again, the El Credito Super Habanero! It is handmade with the same high-quality Dominican and Nicaraguan filler leaves and Ecuadorian Connecticut seed wrappers of the La Gloria Cubana but the sticker is half the price.
