CLE COROJO received an epic 90-rating from Cigar Aficionado magazine in the February 2013 issue!
Christian Eiroa who is credited with shooting star rising of CAMACHO CIGARS is coming back with his new cigar company: “CLE CIGARS”. Back In 2008, Eiroa sold Camacho Cigars to the corporate giant Davidoff of Geneva. Eiroa joined the conglomerate as the head of Camacho Division, in charge of production and marketing of both his brands: Camacho and Baccarat cigars. He stayed on for a while but in 2010 decided to move on and become independent again. With the new CLE Corp. Eiroa is making it in his grand style. Last August the company launched several brands of cigars and the CLE – named after Eiroa’s initials – Christian luis Eiroa – is the first one of them. This short batch/limited edition comes in Habano piloto wrapper – the CLE Cuarenta (forty in Spanish, signifying a celebration of Eiroa’s 40th birthday), and the CLE Corojo, made with Corojo wrapper. All the cigars are made in Honduras but the company keeps mum when it comes to disclosing the rest of the cigar ingredients. Eiroa admits that he enjoys.experimenting with sizes. “I’ve always smoked 5x50s but now I’ve fallen in love with 46 by 5 1/2. So those sizes will be in our product line.” His favorite size however is the 11/18 which signifies his mother’s birthday.
