Bahia Vintage Collection was introduced in the cigar market in 1994, causing a revolution in taste and appreciation of the world's finest cigars. These cigars were made of Cuban seed tobacco grown in Nicaragua of the 1996 harvest and they were sold out quickly. Tony Borhani dates his Bahia Vintage cigars based on the year the filler and binder were grown, except for its vintage maduro line, which is dated according to the year the wrapper was harvested. The current Bahia Vintage cigars are handmade using only 2000-vintage Nicaraguan Connecticut seed wrappers and 1998-vintage Nicaraguan Cuban seed fillers & binders. The rich flavors of the Bahia Vintage will please the most demanding cigar aficionado.
