We consider Alec Bradley Tempus to be the best cigar made by the Alec Bradley company. Alan Rubin discovered the special wrapper tobacco in a little farm in Honduras, back in 2001. The leaves have been aging for a very long time and this fact gave Rubin the idea to name the brand "Tempus" or TIME in latin. the wrapper is very unique indeed, with a rich, dark brown hue, slightly reddish and very silky to the touch, it is oily to boot, providing rich, dark chocolate notes mixes with a slight nutty aroma.Rich in flavor and smooth in character, It is made from a combination of Honduran Criollo 1998 wrapper blended with Corojo and Criollo filler from the Trojes region of Honduras, just north of the Nicaraguan border.

Bradley’s Alan Rubin originally intended this blend for their Maxx brand, but was concerned with getting a consistent supply of the new tobaccos developed for the Tempus. The Alec Bradley Tempus was rated 94 by cigar insider and is a strong leader in the Alec Bradley repertoir.
