Made by Cuban cigar artisan Don Pepin Garcia, for the 601-Ortega-Espinosa Co. in Miami, the Cubao is a real Miami made Cuban cigar despite the fact that it’s made in Nicaragua. Boasting a dark, oily Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper in real Oscuro shade, the cigar is complex and powerful. The Nicaraguan puro blend makes for a sweet smoke, smooth as butter and bold as a Doberman. We loved this cigar from the first puff. The boxes are as unique as the cigar, with old Cuban look and feel. This is definitely an original creation by the makers of the famed 601.

La Gloria Cubana Artesanos Retro Especiale has a Connecticut seed wrapper. The Mexican and Nicaraguan binder is enhanced by Nicaraguan and Dominican ligero and an additional peppering of proprietary Nicaraguan and Dominican leaf.
